This is the first CD I put out. It's kind of a fun happy type CD with alot of humor and some good philosophy with folk pop songs and a little homeade rap. This CD was recorded at Randy's Recording http://www.randysrecording.com and it first got played on WIBA fm http://www.wibafm.com when Sly in the Morning was still there. If you remember listening to Sly in the Morning you might recognize the title Purple Bananas On The Moon,My Cat Was Taking A Bath or Pink Pants.Since then Sly has moved to WTDY http://www.wtdy.com and I see him now and then and I also have been on the radio there with him as well as with some of the other DJs there and on other local stations like http://www.wjjo.com , http://www.wort-fm.com , http://www.wsum.com .Maybe you saw me on Sly's show when it was on TV or saw Sly on my local cable show with me ?artpaul

Reviews:
Facts:
  • Alot of the Best songs from this CD are now on The Best of ART PAUL SCHLOSSER (artpaul)
  • since the release back in 1991 I have sold most of the 500 copies except a few I gave away to DJs and the few copies I still have which is about 20 (artpaul)
  • Well he didn't play me until I recorded Have A Peanut Butter Sandwich but when The Great LukeSki decided to compile a Best of from my first 7 CDs and a copy was sent to Dr Demento well then Dr Demento did play Purple Bananas which was originally on this CD (artpaul)
  • But around the time I put out I'm A Prince by the Artist Still Known as ART PAUL SCHLOSSER maybe around the year of 1996(maybe97) Dr Demento came back on the air in Madison for the fall so I thought I send him a couple CDs and this time he wrote me back saying he might play me but he couldn't promise anything. (artpaul)
  • Also I should mention Dr Demento went off the air here in Madison so I wasn't trying that hard to get on his radio show because I was starting to get famous on local radio here. (artpaul)
  • When this first was put on a better cassette and then on CD I didn't bother sending it to Dr Demento because I thought he was interested. (artpaul)
  • Most of the really funny songs from Hi,How Are You ended up on My Cat Was Taking A Bath but some of them ended up Happy Birthday & Smile Be Happy (artpaul)
  • My Boombox cassette tape called Hi,how Are You actaully has a song called Hi,How Are You which is now on my Happy Birthday CD (artpaul)
  • Please don't mistake me for Daniel Johnston who also put out a boombox tape called:Hi,How Are You (artpaul)
  • Hi,How Are You was my first recording but the quality was so poor dubbing from a boombox recording that Dr Demento didn't even bother to write me back about it. (artpaul)
  • Though My Cat Was Taking a Bath is my first CD it is not my first recording. (artpaul)
  • this CD was originally 2 cassette tapes (artpaul)
