The Mad Music Moment #226 - July 18, 2018
Topic: Big Bats Down To One Five Five (George Carlin tribute show)
This show is Explcicit

This week, we have a tribute show for George Carlin, who died 10 years ago last month. The show title is an obscure line from one of his bits included in this show. This will be the first Mad Music Show with no music at all – except for the bgm during the announces. Those who think I’m going to play his most famous routines just don’t know this show. I’m playing some of his best stuff that you don’t know about. Because doing the obvious is just taking the easy way out.

Show Facts:
Double Fake Out: The opening says there'll be no music in this show. BZZT! Wrong. It also says the show will begin and end with opening & closing bits from real Carlin performances. The show does open & close with such performances - but not necessarily by George. Bonus points to those who figure out what show the bonus track closes an episode of. (Stavro Arrgolus)
This is likely the most laid back of shows full of bad language. This is due to my leaning toward George's "Little David Records" era albums from the '70s - when he was wasted most of the time. These contain more cleverness and less ranting. It's rather difficult to rant when you're high and this show proves it. Only the final set has (slightly) edgier material. (Stavro Arrgolus)
