I just re-read thesuspense's killer comment, which I also quoted on my blog.
"Why is it that that kind of insensitive disregard for other people is starting to seem absurdly refreshing? I suppose it's better to hear someone speak honestly from a dark heart, than to have to listen to one more well-polished lie."
Words to live by for any artist.

The Mad Music Show: 'Don't Really Matter'
Wayne Ross had a nice little Dr. Demento fan site going — that is, until Dr. D's tough love forced Wayne to forge a new comedy music path. Citing proprietary reasons, Dr. Demento and his terrestrial radio and Internet broadcast partners asked Wayne to remove a comprehensive Demento show archive from thedrdementoshow.com, the site Wayne founded in January 2005. But from the ashes rose the Mad Music Archive, featuring the Mad Music Show with Cap'n Wayne. The two-hour weekly program provides an additional shot of Dementia for old and new fans of the original. Adding to the list of sayings by old folks. My wife's great grand mother used to have a saying "I never met a cripple that wasn't a son of a B****" Why is it that that kind of insensitive disregard for other people is starting to seem absurdly refreshing? I suppose it's better to hear someone speak honestly from a dark heart, than to have to listen to one more well polished lie.

I agree with titman -- this was a fun show. His post also reminded of a comdey bit I once heard (but I don't remember who the comedian was):
"If it wasn't for handicapped people, I'd never find a parking space!"

Captain, Sunday would've been my Dads birthday. He used to have a saying that was very incorrect but damn funny, "Hire the handicapped, they're fun to watch". Thanks for the topic this week. It seems that political correctness has replaced common sense. So until the people of America take to the streets, THANK YOU for keeping us laughing! My saying would be " F. U. if you can't take a joke!" -Greetings from the Inland Empire!
