This song, like Terri O'Mason's "Cupcakes," spent a week atop my personal music charts in early 1979. It's a parody of Kansas' "Dust in the Wind," with a PCP-sniffing message (Dr. Demento would play several drug tunes in those days, including "Marijuana Munchies" on this same show. I'm not quite sure, but I believe this was the very first popular song parody that I remember hearing on the radio (Cheech & Chong might have had a few before that, like "Basketball Jones" and "Bloat On," but I'm not really sure. Either way, it kind of hooked me on Dr. Demento for quite a few years after that.
