Thank you all for your support! It was a difficult time - only made better by having the new Grandson with us.

Wayne- Condolences on the loss of your sister. Blessings to you and your entire family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Captain it is very sad to hear of your loss of a Sister.
In this situation one doesn't know what to see but I'll be praying for you.
|
|
|
Capt., I'm sorry for your loss as well. Never easy.
One note for the crowd: WAMU's Hot Jazz Saturday Night is streamed for a week after the show broadcasts on Saturday night. While it's not quite focusing on the dementia aspects, from about an hour into the show he focuses on music of the 20s-40s that is at least tangentially related to Halloween. You can hear Pops singing "Old Man Mose is Dead" and other gems.....

One thing that you don't need to worry about right now is the Halloween 3 show. We all understand that you're going through one of the tough things in life right now.
With deepest sympathy ... take care!
|
|
I, too, send my condolences. I've lost a host of relatives myself and I'm only too aware of what it's like.
And let the show sit if you don't feel up to it.
Captain Wayne: --- This weekend's Halloween 3 show may or may not happen.

Captain Wayne: --- Sorry, but tonight's show is going to have to be postponed. We are currently in-route to Florida to visit my wife's mom who is not doing very well (she's in her mid-80's). I should have a new show (and be back in town) by next Sunday.
I should have the 2nd Halloween show next week, then the 3rd on Halloween (sometime early Saturday the 31st).

Tim, Great stuff! I am going to avail myself of that treasure trove for sure!!!
FANG you to Pete and Jman for requesting Vampire Surprise. Of course, I'd modestly like to third that.
And as an aside, I finally posted the music video on YouTube here, so here you go. Hope you like!

Nice list Tim.
Tim P. Ryan: --- If you use the Search function to search in just Forums with the phrase 'creepy collection', you will find my Creepy Collection of over a hundred Halloween tunes in the results, part of this forum post four years ago.
Check out the Songs list of recently changed. Over a dozen song samples have been added for those of you who want to sample and request. Or be the first demented DJ on your block to play one of those tunes.

Stavro Arrgolus: --- Time once again for Halloween hijinks on teh internets. These shows, like the Xmas episodes, always seem to go down rather well with everyone, so we try to get in multiple scary shows and play flippin' great wodges of Halloween humor. It's also the anniversary of TMMS. If all goes well, we can get in all 3 of the episodes.
It's the annual opportunity to hear all of the creepy classics. With multiple shows, most of the old faves get heard, but maybe you can think of a few spooky tunes that haven't been played in the past few years- or even at all. So do what I do and add 'em to your list when you think of them.
Video Nasty - The Damned Undertaker - Monty Python Horror Movie - The Skyhooks Goblin Girl - Frank Zappa Full Moon - Elvira Candy Corn - Lewis Black Goodbat Nightman - The Scaffold
