Greetings people who claim to enjoy my music!
I just have a few things I want to pass on to you quickly, then I will leave you to return to your Mafia Wars or FarmVille or whatever you happen to be doing.
--== ALL YOU CAN TWEET ==-- First of all, in case you missed it The Great Luke Ski posted a new song on The FuMP the other day and this one heavily features me. It's called All You Can Tweet and is a parody about All You Can Eat by The Fat Boys (a classic from the 1985 film Krush Groove). The song is about how The Fat Boys are back and are now posting on Twitter.
The really cool thing about this is Tuesday night The Fat Boys were streaming live on the net and their manager Uncle Louie played the song on the cast. Prince Markie Dee of The Fat Boys was there and heard it for the first time as Louie played it and he really liked it! Luke got to witness this live and his head damn near exploded from the excitement. Check out Luke's LiveJournal posting for all the details here: lukeski.livejournal.com/515757.html
--== THE INSIDER ==-- Second, episode 3 of The Insider video podcast is now posted. On this episode I give some behind the scenes info on All You Can Tweet, talk about NACA, spoof Paranormal Activity, and talk about a new project I'm working on with Insane Ian. Subscribers to The Spice Rack can watch the video here: www.devospice.com/insider_play.php?id=4
If you're not a subscriber you'll see a shorter teaser version of the video. If you're interested in subscribing and getting access to this video, plus now a free DVD, go here for all the information: www.devospice.com/spicerack.php
--== NEW ENGLAND FAN EXPERIENCE ==-- Finally I just wanted to plug my next live show which is November 13th at the New England Fan Experience in Boston. I'm told my show will be Friday night at 10:00. For more info on the con visit: www.nefanx.com
That's the only show I have lined up until spring at the moment. There are a couple shows coming around that I'm going to approach to try to be an opening act, (Jonathan Coulton/Paul & Storm, MC Lars, maybe one at BB King's in NYC). If anyone thinks they can help me out with this efforts please let me know. I'm kind of shooting in the dark here.
That's all, folks!
